Frequently asked questions
What position does the thigh and wrist cuff set create?
The set binds the wearer's wrists directly to their thighs via the clip fasteners, creating a position where the hands are held at the sides against the thighs. This can be used in a kneeling or lying position and creates an exposed configuration with hands immobilised.
Can the wrist and thigh cuffs be used separately?
Yes. The clip fasteners can be detached, allowing the wrist and thigh cuffs to be used independently for standard wrist or thigh restraint, or combined with other compatible restraint accessories.
What sizes do the cuffs accommodate?
Thigh cuffs adjust from 36 cm to 76 cm circumference. Wrist cuffs adjust from 11 cm to 28 cm, covering a wide range of adult body sizes.
What safety checks apply when using thigh and wrist cuffs?
Establish a pre-agreed stop signal before use. Fasten all four cuffs with two fingers of clearance. Check circulation at all four attachment points immediately after fastening and regularly during the session. Release via clip fasteners immediately at the stop signal. Never leave a restrained partner unsupervised.
Is the set foam-lined and what does that provide?
Yes. All four cuffs are foam-lined on the interior contact surface to prevent scratching and provide a comfortable layer between the faux leather and skin during wear.
