Frequently asked questions
Why must e-stim devices not be used above the waist?
Electrical current applied above the waist can pass through or near the heart and other vital structures, risking cardiac arrhythmia or other serious harm. Most electrosex guides and the manufacturer's own advisory restrict e-stim use to below the waist for this reason.
How do the two clamps create stimulation?
One clamp is the negative pole and the other is the positive pole. When both are connected to a Zeus Powerbox and applied to the body, the electrical current flows from one pole, through the tissue between the two clamp positions, and returns to the other pole. The stimulation is felt throughout the area between the clamps.
Who should not use e-stim devices?
Anyone with a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or metal implants in the target area should never use e-stim devices. Those with any cardiac condition should consult a healthcare professional before use. E-stim must never be used above the waist.
Do I need a separate Powerbox to use these clamps?
Yes. The clamps require a Zeus Powerbox (sold separately) to generate the electrical current. They are compatible with all Zeus Powerbox models.
How do I start safely with e-stim clamps?
Always begin with the Powerbox at zero intensity. Connect both clamps to the Powerbox, apply to the target area below the waist, then increase intensity gradually from zero. Never start at a high setting.
